Advances in Mental Health and Intellectual Disabilities invites submissions for its Special Issue on Mental Health, Mental Well-being and Intellectual Disability Research.

About the Special Issue

This Special Issue celebrates the European Association of Mental Health in Intellectual Disability (EAMHID) Congress 2027, themed "Towards 100% Social Equity and Participation in the AI Age." It aims to showcase original research that advances knowledge on mental health, wellbeing, social equity, and inclusion for people with intellectual disabilities across diverse settings and populations.

The issue welcomes interdisciplinary research that addresses mental health, child and family care, education, social policy, public health, technology, and innovative interventions. Contributions that promote evidence-based practice, reduce inequalities, and improve participation and quality of life for individuals with intellectual disabilities are particularly encouraged.
