About the Special Issue

Action Learning: Research and Practice invites submissions for a Special Issue on “Action Learning in Asia.” This issue aims to advance understanding of how action learning is being applied, adapted, and developed across diverse Asian cultural, organizational, and educational contexts.

Previous issues of the journal have featured studies from countries including South Korea, China, Japan, the Philippines, Thailand, Singapore, Taiwan, Turkey, Nepal, India, and Pakistan. This Special Issue seeks to expand this body of knowledge by welcoming contributions from these nations as well as from other Asian countries that have not yet been represented in the journal.

Recognizing that cultural, social, and institutional contexts play a significant role in shaping action learning practices, the Special Issue encourages exploration of how different cultural environments influence the design, facilitation, implementation, and outcomes of action learning initiatives.
