Introduction
The urgency to align innovation with sustainability has never been more critical — driven by global challenges such as climate change, resource scarcity, digital disruption, and socio-economic inequalities. While existing literature underscores innovation as a key driver of competitive advantage, it often overlooks the integration of sustainability imperatives — leaving a gap in understanding systemic, long-term business transformations.
Recent global events — including the COVID-19 pandemic, supply chain disruptions, and rising ESG mandates — have further highlighted the need for resilient, sustainable business models. This Special Issue seeks to address these pressing societal, academic, and managerial demands by inviting rigorous, interdisciplinary research that explores the nexus of strategic innovation, business management, and sustainability.

⚙️ SDG 9 — Industry, Innovation & Infrastructure
