The Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad invites original research submissions for the 3rd India Management Research Conference (IMRC) 2026, scheduled from 4–6 December 2026 at the IIM Ahmedabad campus.

Conference Theme

Reimagining Organizations: Transformation and Value-Creation in the Age of AI

IMRC 2026 will bring together academicians, researchers, doctoral scholars, and management professionals to discuss India-focused research addressing contemporary organisational, technological, economic, and societal challenges.

The conference features 12 thematic tracks:

1. Creating Value for India’s AI Startup Ecosystem

2. Management in Health Services

3. Gold and Precious Metals: Business and Economic Policies

4. Finance, Accounting, and Economics

5. Behavioural Science in Management

6. Transportation and Logistics

7. Digital Transformation

8. Corporate Sustainability and Corporate Governance – IRCC 2026

9. Leadership and Organisational Development with the Advent of AI

10. Data Science and Artificial Intelligence

11. Low-Emission Development Strategies

12. Marketing

Types of Submissions

Researchers may submit:

• Full Papers: Completed research with substantial findings

• Working Papers: Ongoing research demonstrating promising contributions

• Extended Abstracts: Early-stage empirical, theoretical, or conceptual research

Submissions should demonstrate originality, methodological rigour, and relevance to management theory and/or practice.

IIMA–JPIM Paper Development Workshop

The conference will also feature the IIMA–JPIM Paper Development Workshop, offering researchers an opportunity to strengthen their manuscripts through expert academic feedback and engagement.

Important Dates

All submissions will undergo a rigorous peer-review process coordinated by the respective conference tracks and Centres of Research Excellence at IIM Ahmedabad.

Undergraduate students may attend the conference as participants but are not eligible to submit research papers.

Submit Your Research

Researchers working across management, technology, sustainability, economics, governance, entrepreneurship, healthcare, marketing, artificial intelligence, and related disciplines are encouraged to submit before the deadline.
