About the Seminar
The Delhi School of Economics (DSE) invites submissions for the DSE Young Scholar Seminar 2026, scheduled to be held from February 14 to 16, 2026.
This seminar provides a vibrant academic platform for young researchers to present their ongoing research, receive constructive feedback, and engage in meaningful discussions with peers and experts in the field.
Organized under the aegis of the Ministry of Micro, Small, & Medium Enterprises (MSME), Government of India, the seminar aims to foster scholarly collaboration and promote impactful economic research addressing contemporary issues.
Highlights
- Panel Discussion: Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
- Special Lecture: Prof. Dilip Mookherjee (Boston University), a distinguished economist known for his contributions to development and institutional economics.
Submission Areas
Submissions are invited in — but not limited to — the following areas of economics:
- Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs)
- Health Economics
- Education Economics
- Development Economics
- Agricultural Economics
- Labour Economics
- Economic Theory
High-quality papers from other branches of economics are also welcome.
Target Group
The seminar is designed for:
- Doctoral candidates
- Early-career researchers
- Post-doctoral scholars
- Assistant Professors or Lecturers (with up to five years of teaching or research experience)
Applicants should be affiliated with Indian institutions and enrolled in Economics or related disciplines.
Submission Guidelines
Participants are encouraged to submit their full paper in PDF format (maximum file size: 2 MB).

Travel and Accommodation
Participants enrolled in Indian institutions outside Delhi-NCR will receive a travel allowance (TA) of up to ₹10,000 and will be provided accommodation.
Participants from Delhi-NCR will receive a TA of up to ₹1,000 per day.
